These large cabochons came from a multi-generational collection in Idaho. Each measures around 40x50mm, variable thickness, all suitable for bezel setting.
Wild Horse Jasper captures the raw, untamed beauty of the American West. The stone gets its evocative name from its striking resemblance to the spotted, dappled coats of wild Appaloosa, Paint, and Pinto horses running free across desert plains.
Stunning, landscape-like varieties are pulled from the rugged Owyhee Mountains along the Idaho and Oregon border, which is where these pieces originate.
Today, Wild Horse Jasper remains a highly sought-after collector's gem. Because no two stones are ever completely alike, wearing it is a reminder of your own unique path.
